Needless to say, producing art requires money far more than it accumulates it. In a capitalist society where corporations take advantage of the working class with high cost to support “supply and demand”, indie artists and businesses work for themselves, by themselves, and are in constant need of assistance. Donations are NOT required, but always appreciated!
Who are you?
Well, hi there!
I’m Shayla, but I go by Shay. I’m an artist based in South Bend, IN, and I’ve found expression in my art based in acting, modeling, photography, and writing for several years. The original plan was to graduate from Penn High School and move to the West Coast to continue this career, but I found that uprooting to a more expensive lifestyle wasn’t conducive to myself or my family. So, I stuck with the Chicagoland area, closer to hometown roots and resources.
I’ve moved others with my art time and time again, and my journey is far from over.
